We stopped by to celebrate Butter’s Fine Foods & Wine 3rd Birthday with Krystan and the crew on July 30.
A nice selection of wines to sample per usual, but the treat was the cake. Wow!
Kristy Stephens Ammann, owner of Soiree Cakery, was behind the counter cutting up heavenly slices of her signature lemon cake. A perfect concoction of sour and sweet, it would be perfect for weddings, showers, anniversaries… heck, for Thursdays. I think it was a Thursday.

A few years back, Roger and I were working on a shared project through Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. I was the writer and he was the designer for their employee newsletter. We’d grown fond of each other and become good friends over a period of time.
